...there was a church that was filled with ordinary people who had a tenacious appetite to follow God’s will, regardless of the cost?  A church where people relentlessly shared their faith and shared their lives with others in a vulnerable way.  What could God do with a church filled with real people who used their spiritual gifts and talents to win others to Christ?  A place where people reached their God-sized potential and believers grew to become spiritual giants in their community.  What if a church did whatever it took to reach out to people, what could God do with this kind of church?  A place where ordinary people could experience God in a fresh way, and for the first time learn practical ways to live as a fully devoted follower of Christ in the 21st century.  This would be a place where race, income, status, education, were all the same, because of our love for God and others. Who wouldn’t want to be a member of this church?

It is our hope and prayer that Brookings Church of the Nazarene continues to become this church.
